GRANDMA’S GINGERSNAP COOKIES
When I was a little girl, I remember eating these cookies at Grandma’s house. I loved them! I have always loved the soft, chewy gingersnaps she made. Here’s the recipe.
GRANDMA’S GINGERSNAP COOKIES
Ingredients
- ¾ cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- ½ cup molasses
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 3 ½ cups flour
- 2 tsp ginger
- 2 tsp baking soda
- Extra sugar
Instructions
Mix well with hands.
Roll into balls, roll in sugar and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes. Do not overbake or they will get hard.
Bake 14 minutes for a large scoop/ball.
If you really love ginger, add ½ cup of chopped crystallized ginger to the recipe.
